To strengthen our team, we are looking for volunteer support in event management. If you are eager to gain hands-on experience, help shape creative events, and are passionate about diversity, startups, and innovation, then you are exactly who we’re looking for!
Your Responsibilities:
Managing and developing our online community (e.g., Slack, LinkedIn, etc.)
Planning and executing interactive formats that strengthen community engagement
Serving as a point of contact for our members and new interested participants
Assisting in the organization of community events (virtual or on-site)
Contributing to initiatives that increase the visibility of marginalized perspectives
What you should bring:
Interest in topics such as diversity, startups, and social change
Enjoyment of communication and a strong sense for community needs
Some experience with digital tools (Slack, LinkedIn, Zoom, Canva, etc.)
Structured and independent way of working
Excellent German and good English skills

What you´ll do with us:
Planning, organizing, and executing events (e.g., conferences, workshops, networking formats)
Selecting and managing venues, service providers, and suppliers
Developing creative event concepts tailored to our diverse audience
Communicating and coordinating with team members and external partners
Assisting with budget tracking and evaluating the success of events
What you should bring:
Some experience in event management (voluntary, student projects, personal – all counts!)
Organizational skills, creativity, and an independent way of working
Interest in startups and social engagement
Confident use of digital tools and enjoyment of teamwork
Excellent German and English skills

If you are a trainer and have experience in leading workshops on topics such as diversity, inclusion, innovation, or leadership, or if you’re interested in developing exciting new formats that inspire and advance companies and public institutions, then the Spotlight! Academy is the perfect place for you. We are looking for dedicated and creative trainers who either already offer their own workshops or would like to collaborate with us to develop and implement new concepts. Our academy is aimed at companies, startups, and public institutions with the goal of bringing more diversity and innovation into the everyday work environment through tailored training.
What you should bring:
- Experience as a trainer or workshop leader, ideally in the areas of diversity, equity, inclusion, or related topics.
- Passion for promoting innovation, leadership, or soft skills.
- The ability to design content for both beginners and experienced professionals.
- Enjoyment in working with people from different industries and cultures.
- Creativity and openness to developing new workshop formats.
